The University of Dayton English Department offers a number of writing courses to meet the needs of both majors and non-majors. We also offer a Writing Certificate for students from all majors. English majors, minors, and those pursuing the Writing Certificate are also eligible to apply for Writing Internship opportunities highlighted on this site. Advisors can use the course descriptions on this site to help their students find a class that is right for them. English faculty can use the resources on this site to help choose texts and plan assignments. Students seeking internships and/or wanting to learn more about the Writing Certificate can find the necessary information here as well.
