Welcome to the Forum for the History of Science in America web site. The Forum is an interest group within the History of Science Society. Our goal is to provide information for scholars and scientists interested in the history of American science for research and teaching purposes. We also serve as a liaison between Americanists in the history of science and broader history community. The links below lead to announcements, news, professional information, teaching suggestions, and history of American science sites. Our goal is to encourage discussion, research, and teaching about American science as a part of the history of science, the history of the United States, and the history of the Americas. Please let us know if there are other announcements that you would like to see on this site by writing to the editor.
