My research interests include: White Racial Extremism, White Separatism, Collective Behavior and Social Movements, Corporate and White Collar Crime and Fraud, Sociological and Criminological Theory, Roadside and Spontaneous Memorializing, Organized Crime and Labor Movements (especially the Teamsters), the Sociology of Popular Music, and, of course, Internet communication and communities.

Classes I have Taught: Introduction to Criminal Justice, Corrections, Comparative Criminal Justice, Criminology, Principles of Sociology, Social Relations, Social Deviance and Social Control, Sociological Theory, Criminological Theory, Juvenile Justice and Delinquency, Formal Organizations, Popular Music and Society, Sociology of Extremism, Criminal Justice Senior Seminar, and White Collar Crime and Fraud.
