Microsoft Expression Web is UD's centrally-supported design tool for creating and editing individual Web sites.
There are several easy-to use methods to host Web content at UD including Isidore and QuickPlace. But when students, faculty and staff need to create and manage their own Web sites, then Expression Web is the right choice.

Although Expression Web is one of several applications in the Microsoft Expression suite, UDit provides support and training for the Web editor only.
Many Web sites at UD were originally created and maintained using Microsoft FrontPage.
When Microsoft discontinued FrontPage sales in 2006, UDit with input from faculty, students and staff researched alternative products to replace FrontPage. The recommendation was to use Microsoft Expression Web.
Although Expression Web will open and edit sites created with FrontPage, there are some significant differences. The following two documents can aid users familiar with FrontPage as they transition to Expression Web:
