By the time the course is over you will have explored how to “game plane” your job search, produced a working resume, and drafted a cover letter for a job application. You will also have had the opportunity to meet with a number of individuals currently employed in history and history-related careers (archivist, records manager, public historian, librarian). In addition, you will also work with the instructor and career services to identify and contact someone in another career field of interest to you. And you will be fully registered with UD Career Services and introduced to all the services that the office can provide for your job search both before and after graduation.
The purpose of this course is to provide you with the information to fully and in great detail answer the burning question: What can you do with a history major?
