Retirement Reception April 18, 2008

Chris Goodson and Brian Biggs.  The year I was interim chair, I taught ASI 150 to our new CPS and CIS majors.

I asked Chris, who was a senior at the time, if he would give a talk to those first year students.  He said he would.

In his talk, he mentioned how clueless they were and pointed out how clueless he was when he was a first year

student.  His talk was brilliant.  I have always been grateful to him for his help.  So ... for my retirement, he gave

me a Clue™ game as a present!  Outstanding!  Brian Biggs was also very helpful to me.  He helped me out with

the lab for CPS 387.  He was a strong support during a busy semester.  I am very grateful that both came to my

retirement reception.

Brian Haug and Marius Meissner.  These two alumni won the distance award for attendance at the reception.  Brian came from Phoenix, AZ

and Marius came from Palo Alto, CA.
