10 hikers ventured out on the most glorious day of the year.  Temperatures were cool and comfortable.  The sun was bright and the sky was pure blue without the sign of a cloud.  Everyone enjoyed this challenging hike of 14.25 miles, as certified by Jerry Lamb's pedometer.  There were some moderate hills to climb, but nothing extraordinarily difficult.  There was good conversation along the trails, and Erin, the park naturalist who was hiking with us, filled us in on interesting aspects of the park.
