7 hikers came out for this challenging 7 mile hike with several good hills.  The weather was very threatening.  A line of thunderstorms was approaching the area and some tornados had been sighted along the front.  Fortunately, the worst weather was predicted after the hike was scheduled to be over.  The first 2/3 of the hike was no problem.  The termperature in the 60s was extremely mild for this time of year and the rain held off.  Then the deluge of rain hit.  It lasted for about 30 minutes, and the hikers were completely soaked and had to be very careful moving along the slippery trails.  By the end of the hike at about 4PM, the rain had mostly stopped.  All the participants felt like they had had a real hiking adventure!
