f you are planning to study in Italy in 2007,
get a head start by learning the essentials of Italian.  

ITA 101A      Beginning Italian I          2 credits

Section 01:      2:00 – 2:50 MW           Merolla, C.
Section 02:      3:00 – 3:50 MW           Chiodo, A.

In this course, you will learn to:

* introduce yourself and provide personal
   information.
* request information.
* order from a menu.
* book a train reservation or a room in a hotel.
* describe people and things.
* express your likes and dislikes, etc.

In addition, you will be introduced to the rich Italian culture and many helpful hints for
getting around in Italy.
