"I have really
enjoyed my semester of Clinic...I've been able to work on several types
of cases from juvenile criminal cases to domestic relations, and
eviction cases. In fact, I think the only thing our clients have in
common with each other is poverty. I wish more students would take
advantage of this resource, and it would be great if the University
could make this a required course for all third year law students. I
couldn't imagine graduating without having had this practical "real
world" experience." Beth Allen, Fall 1999
"...the greatest opportunities to learn about the practice of law at the University of Dayton lie within the walls of 001 Keller Hall, the Law Clinic. I decided to participate in the clinic because I learn best by doing. I also liked the idea of having a legal intern's license and a title..." Michele Manculich, Winter, 1998 "...I do believe that Law Clinic has been one of the most beneficial courses I have taken at UDSL....I had a chance to file motions, deal with clients, argue with opposing counsel and feel the penetrating stare of a judge -- things that sometime each of us will have to face -- for the first time under the eye of my professor rather than the eye of a senior partner." Derek Faulkner, Winter, 1998 "...My legal education would not have been complete without the experience of clinic. I am glad I enrolled in clinic, for it has certainly been the most gratifying law school experience I have had." Bea DeMoraes, Winter, 1998 |
