| There are two versions of the Slide Shows on this webpage. There is a narrated version and a version without the narration. The latter is provided so the student can download a print version, if the student so desires. [The narrated version could probably be downloaded onto a hard drive --- but why would you want that?] |
| An odd thing occurs if you wish to print some of the articles that are linked to this webpage. The articles are by Burns, Drucker, Maslow, and Moore. The odd thing is that, if you try to print from the link on this page, the first couple of pages do not print. I can't figure this out. [Sometimes I hate computers.] But the solution is to bring up the article from the link and then download it to your computer and print it from that file on your computer. |
PLEASE NOTE: WHEN A DATE FALLS ON A SUNDAY, IT IS CONSIDERED AS THE END OF THE PREVIOUS WEEK. CONSULT THE RELEVANT WEBPAGE FOR THE SPECIFICS OF THE DESIGNATED ASSIGNMENT.

[The work in this week is intended to generate some self-reflection as an end for this course. Throughout this course a good deal of the reading and tasks has been other-directed, i.e., guiding, leading, and serving a corporation and its employees. It is vitally important for leaders to realize that, to be effective leaders, they must be concerned about nurturing themselves as well as nurturing others. The readings in this week are chosen to that end. They should provide insight for the leaders themselves as well as a foundation for developing strategies for leaders to move forward for themselves in a creative way.]
