 Maximum Possible Regular Points: 1000

* The value of the graded score you make on the Word Test and Excel Test will be based upon the number of Turn-ins I have accepted by the final due date of the Turn-ins. A penalty will be imposed for unaccepted Turn-ins by the due date set in Isidore.

Word Test [by the Test Date]:

Have all five turn-ins accepted: 100% of the graded score you make.

If a Turn-in(s) is not accepted before the test, points will be deducted per the Turn-in Table.

Excel Test [by the Test Date]:

Have all four turn-ins accepted: 100% of the graded score you make.

If a Turn-in(s) is not accepted before the test, points will be deducted per the Turn-in Table.

Missed Test  / Late Assignment Policy

Students must furnish documented evidence by e-mail of serious and compelling reasons for missing Tests before make-up Tests can be considered. Work or vacation plans do not constitute serious and compelling reasons. Missed tests will not be made up unless an excused absence is agreed to prior to the class. The absolute FINAL DATE for any and all Turn-in work at 11 PM on Apr 28, 2010.

Class Attendance

Students are expected to attend and participate in class discussions and activities. Students MUST attend 85% of the scheduled classes to get full course credit. Attendance will be taken. Students who are excused from class meetings or activities are responsible for making arrangements with the professor to make up their work.

Final Grade: Actual points divided by 10

The total number of points that you earn for the assignments and tests will be divided by the maximum number of points that could be earned for all assignments. The value thereby computed will be translated into a letter grade at the end of the course according to the final scale below: There is no curve grading. You get what you get. I want everyone to get an A- minimum.
