This page contains information on events organized by the Department of Mathematics at the University of Dayton.
Undergraduate Mathematics Day at the University of Dayton is an event to celebrate undergraduate mathematics in all forms – research, learning, teaching, history – and to provide an opportunity for undergraduate mathematicians to meet and network with more established mathematicians.
November 7, 2009: Undergraduate Mathematics Day in conjunction with the 10th Annual Schraut Memorial Lecture (delivered by Tom Santner, Ohio State University). Undergraduate Mathematics Day celebrates undergraduate mathematics in all forms - research, learning, teaching, history and provides an opportunity for undergraduate mathematicians to meet and network with more established mathematicians. Three volumes of the Electronic Proceedings of Undergraduate Mathematics Day are published. The fourth volume, for this year's conference, will be published by May 1, 2010.

November 1, 2008: The 23rd Biennial Alumni Seminar (an opportunity for students to network with alums about careers in mathematics), in conjunction with the 9th Annual Kenneth C. Schraut Memorial Lecture (delivered by Robert Bolz, Lockheed Martin).
November 3, 2007: Undergraduate Mathematics Day in conjunction with the 8th Annual Schraut Memorial Lecture (delivered by William Dunham, Muhlenberg College). Undergraduate Mathematics Day celebrates undergraduate mathematics in all forms - research, learning, teaching, history and provides an opportunity for undergraduate mathematicians to meet and network with more established mathematicians. The second volume of the Electronic Proceedings of Undergraduate Mathematics Day is now online.
November 4, 2006: The 22nd Biennial Alumni Seminar (an opportunity for students to network with alums about careers in mathematics), in conjunction with the 7th Annual Kenneth C. Schraut Memorial Lecture (delivered by Gregory Campbell, FDA).
November 5, 2005: Undergraduate Mathematics Day at the University of Dayton in conjunction with the 6th Annual Schraut Memorial Lecture (delivered by Patrick Flinn, NSA). Undergraduate Mathematics Day celebrates undergraduate mathematics in all forms - research, learning, teaching, history and provides an opportunity for undergraduate mathematicians to meet and network with more established mathematicians. The second volume of the Electronic Proceedings of Undergraduate Mathematics Day is now online.
November 6, 2004: Conversations among Women in Mathematics (a panel discussion on women in mathematics, followed by mathematics workshops and a luncheon), the 5th Annual Kenneth C. Schraut Memorial Lecture (delivered by Jane Pendergast, University of Iowa) and the 21st Biennial Alumni Seminar (an opportunity for students to network with alums about careers in mathematics).
November 1, 2003: Undergraduate Mathematics Day at the University of Dayton in conjunction with the 4th Annual Schraut Memorial Lecture (delivered by Robert lewand, Goucher College). Undergraduate Mathematics Day celebrates undergraduate mathematics in all forms - research, learning, teaching, history and provides an opportunity for undergraduate mathematicians to meet and network with more established mathematicians. The Electronic Proceedings of Undergraduate Mathematics Day are now online.
November 2, 2002: Conversations among Women in Mathematics, in conjunction with the 20th Biennial Alumni Seminar and the 3rd Annual Schraut Memorial Lecture (delivered by Paul Campbell, Beloit College).
September 21, 2001: The 2nd Annual Kenneth C. Schraut Memorial Lecture (delivered by Rick Schoen, Stanford University).
November 4, 2000: The Inaugural Kenneth C. Schraut Memorial Lecture (delivered by Joe Diestel, Kent State University)
