CRIMINAL JUSTICE STUDIES INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

STUDENT ELIGIBILITY

   The first step in the internship process is to determine your eligibility by reviewing the requirements below.  The next steps involve a preliminary interview with the program's Coordinator for Community Services, selecting a field site, and "getting hired."

    Candidates for the baccalaureate degree (major or minor) in Criminal Justice Studies are eligible for an internship placement.

Check-off the following requirements:

I am registered as a Criminal Justice Studies major or minor.

I have completed at least 60 semester hours of study.

I have completed at least 30 semester hours at the University of Dayton.

I have at least 12 semester hours of upper-divisional hours in Criminal Justice Studies.

I have at least a 2.50 total cumulative average while attending the University Dayton.

            No exceptions.
I have an updated resume.

I have NOT had previous full-time employment in criminal Justice.

I am NOT presently employed in law enforcement, the courts, or corrections.
