I am from West Chester, Pennsylvania, which is about 20 miles east of Philadelphia.  I am the youngest of three siblings. I have two sisters and a brothers and two very supportive parents as well as dog, named Quitus.

Other than being the research assistant, I served as president and vice president of communications of Alpha Phi Sigma (the criminal justice honors fraternity) and Omega Phi Delta (professional fraternity). In addition I served as Secretary for Chi Omega, a social sorority on campus. I also have attended the American Society of Criminology Conference hosted in Los Angles, California.

Presently, I am a member of Dayton Civic Scholars, a leadership program that explores and aids in the further development of the city of Dayton community, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and both the professional and honors criminal justice organizations, Omega Phi Delta and Alpha Phi Sigma.

I am currently busy applying to various internships in the Department of State and United States Naval Criminal Investigative Service. I am also preparing to attend the National League of Cities in New Orleans. Presently, I am also researching graduate schools programs, to continue my education after I graduate from UD in May of 2009.
