Foreign language skill is my strongest asset, it's the only thing that I feel like I excel in, in every way. I feel like God gave me a gift and He's leading me towards some way that He's going to use me for His will. I'm on a precipice, and the only way to keep going is to learn more languages and return to South America. - I want to work in the Ecuadorian, Peruvian or Mexican Embassy. I want to learn Portuguese and speak Spanish, and possibly learn Kichwa. - Katherine |

I believe so strongly that the promise of a better world lies within the youth of my generation. I believe that it is up to me to immerse myself in culture, language, and ideas that are different from my own. It is vital that we not be afraid of the differences in our world, but embrace them. As unrealistic and completely idealistic this idea is, I believe that International Studies can take this passion and idealism and turn it into something that is useful and tangible. I want to bridge, and emerge, and learn anything and everything. I want to connect the world in a way that gives the generation of tomorrow a better, more diverse life. - Lindsey |
