For my study abroad experience I went to San Jose, Costa Rica. I worked as an assistant at a daycare and taught English to children ages 2-7. - Megan, Class of '07

The picture is of me in Montezuma, Costa Rica, which is on the Nicoya peninsula in the province of Guanacaste. We did a canopy tour and zip-lined through the rainforest and hiked down to some waterfalls, where I jumped off a 45 foot waterfall! - Erin, Class of '08

We got to the university in Casablanca, Morocco, at about 6:30 Friday night and got settled in. After a hot meal and a hot shower I settled in for a much needed night's sleep. The next day was spent with orientation and then to the small town of Ifrane's market for dinner. The town is beautiful, very reminiscent of an European village in the mountains, which it was when Morocco was a French colony. The campus is beautiful and the weather has been great since we arrived. I went down to the market again with some other people from the program today for lunch and some shopping and then had to do some homework to prepare for the first day of class tomorrow. speaking of which, I should probably sign of and get a good nights sleep. hope everyone is doing well. I will keep you all updated with some emails when I get a chance. - Peter, Class of "09

I lived with a family in Viņa del Mar Chile, about an hour outside of Santiago. When I first got here, my Spanish was very limited and although I am still not that good, I can get around and learned a lot more than I would have if I had only studied in the United States. I have fully immersed myself into the whole "Chilean culture." Speaking their language, going out with Chileans my age, hanging out with my host family, etc. has taught me so much about myself and about another very interesting lifestyle. I could go on forever about how much I love Chile and everything I have learned but overall, I can say that this trip has been the most beneficial experience of my life and I think that it was possible because I am in the International Studies program. - Emily, Class of '07
