COSTA RICA
Mid May - Mid June, 2012
Program Director
Dr. Percio Castro
Ext. 92424
| Program Description |
During the four-week program in Costa Rica, UD students will be taking classes Mondays through Fridays at three different sites that belong to the same school. The first two weeks will be spent in Heredia / San José; the third week, at the school’s site in Monteverde (in the mountains); and the last week, at the school’s site in Flamingo (west-coast beach). This type of set-up will enable our students to have a better picture of the country in general–not only of the geography, but also of Costa Rican culture and family life, since they will be living with three different Costa Rican host families over the course of our stay there (breakfast and dinner included).
