Improve your language skills
Become acquainted with life in modern day China
Experience the richness of Chinese culture, history, art, and literature
Earn six (6) or (7) or seven semester credits

CHI 101—4 credit hours
CHI 201—4 credit hours (see prerequisite)
Chinese Culture—3 credit hours
Short stories by Luxun - 3 credit hours; by permission only

The program includes the following: Courses Room and board for 30 days (lunch and dinner also included during cultural visits and excursions) Excursions included in program: Five cultural visits in Nanjing Four excursions outside of Nanjing (Beijing, Xian, Suzhou, Shanghai) Entry fees to all sites of interests and museums Air fare for excursions in China (Nanjing to Xian, Xian to Beijing)

By February 15, 2011: complete Application for Summer Study Abroad (international.udayton.edu/Forms/ssa.php) and pay the $250 deposit (applied toward total cost) to the Bursar By March 18, 2011: submit partial payment in amount of $3,000.00 to the Bursar By April 18, 2011: submit final payment of $2,436.00 to the Bursar.
