Independent Study - Law 607

Professor Vernellia Randall
Fall, 2003

I will supervise an Independent Study on any issue related to

bullet Gender and the Law,
bullet Race and Racism in American Law
bullet Race and Racism in International Law,
bullet Health Care Law or
bullet Legal Education.

This is primarily a paper course. However, your research can include interviews with relevant community individuals. Other independent research options with a paper option will be considered. In general, you will be required to develop a clear and concise statement of the thesis for your paper, submit an introduction to the paper, submit an annotated bibliography paper of your reading, submit at least one draft of the paper and complete a final paper. Your paper will be thorough, scholarly and of publishable quality. You will also be required to meet with me regularly. Please email me at Randall@udayton.edu if you are interested in doing a Independent Study. You should include the tentative topics in the email.

Please Note: I sponsored a limited number of Independent Studies, if you are interested, you should email me ASAP: randall@udayton.edu
