| There will be two (one hour) multiple choice exams and
a two hour final. The exams will be cumulative meaning that they will
test not only most recently taught knowledge but also previously tested
knowledge. The exams will be structured similar to the PMBR, |
| |
The lessons will include the following:
- Overview of Multiple Choice Questions
- Recognizing Distractors and Foils
- Play the Right Role
- Strategies and Tactics
- Analyzing Multiple Choice Questions
- Analyzing Responses
- How Options Can be Wrong
- How to Guess Intelligently
- Taking the Multiple Choice Test
- Varieties in the Form of the Question
- Varieties in the Nature of the Question
|
Actual Exams will be:
- June 12 - Multiple Choice Examination,
1 hour; can be taken anytime between 8:30 am to 3:00pm;
check with the registrar. (10 pts)
- July 17 - Multiple Choice Examination,
1 hour; can be taken anytime between 8:30 am to 3:00pm;
check with the registrar. (10 pts)
- August 7 - Multiple Choice Examination, 2 hour; can be taken anytime between 8:30 am to 3:00pm;
check with the registrar. (Pass/Fail) If you decide to take the MPRE as your
final you must submit the results in order to receive a final grade.
- NOTICE: Also if
you are planning to graduate in the fall, you should know that if
you take the MPRE, your grades won't be issue in time for you retake
the course in the fall. However, you should know after the 2nd
exam how you are doing in the course and the last exam is only worth
10% . I don't foresee this as a problem because the whole point of
my teaching pedagogy is to make sure the student knows how they are
doing through out the course.
