| Extra Credit Assignments are optional, however they significantly
affect the grade. If the course is not subject to the law school curve,
it is potentially possible for everyone to earn a B+ or better.
However, if a course is curved, not doing any extra credit can cause
you to receive a lower grade. To
qualify for receiving extra credit, you have to have a grade of at least
a "C" in the course. There has not been
a situation where a student failed to earn their extra credit
However, you should be aware that extra credit assignments will not pull
a failing grade into a passing grade. |
| |
| Extra credit is worth a total of 4 credits.
|
| These assignments will be graded and you will earn some credit if
you receive a C or better on the assignment. The number of extra points
received will be dependent on the grade. So for instance, if you receive
an average of 90% you will receive a total 3.6 points. 3.6 points will
raise a B+ grade to an A- grade. |
