Reading Assignment

    • Sign-up for the TWEN network. Go to the Internet.;  Type in:  http://lawschool.westlaw.com/ Register; Sign up for Class: Race and Racism in American Law.
    • Write two questions you have about the class and post them to the TWEN Discussion group under Lesson01.
    • Write eight learning objectives you have for yourself for this course. These should be typed and handed in at the second class.
  • Please note that a Film Lab has been added to this course it is tentatively at 12:30 on Wednesday in the same room as the class.

Reflection Paper:

  • Write a Pre-class reflection about your experience  living in a racialized society. When did you become first aware of the concept of race?  Have you lived and worked in a diverse community?  School?  Workplace?  How has your "race" affected your life or the life of your family members?. Describe your most positive experience related to race.  Describe your most negative experience related to race.
