10 -12 hours per day/ six days per week (this includes class time)

Take a 10 to 15 minute break every 45 - 60 minutes.

Take a 1.5 hour break after every 3-4 hours of study.

Take a 2-3 hour break each day.

Practice exams during your "Best Time" for studying. Everyone has high and low periods of attention and concentration. Use your best times for practicing exams; use the down times for routines.

Study in shorter time blocks with short breaks between. This keeps you from getting fatigued and "wasting time." This type of studying is efficient because while you are taking a break, the brain is still processing the information.

Reduce distractions which can "waste time."

Make sure you have time to sleep and eat properly. If you deprive yourself of sleep you won't last the entire three and one half months.

Combine Activities. If you are washing clothes, review your flash cards.

Let some things go. The stove can wait until after the bar to be cleaned (unless of course you are doing it to relax).
