De Mauro Paravia is a monolingual (Italian<->Italian) dictionary
Ultralingua.NET is more than just a dictionary. First find an interesting article in Italian (see the section MEDIA & CULTURE below). Then copy the address of the web page and paste it into the field provided on unltralingua.net. Choose the translation or definition option you want and press "submit". You will get a replica of the original page where each word is a link. If you click on it you will get a quick translation or definition.

Rai Click is the web channel of the three public TV stations. You can watch a selection of programs and the latest news (Telegiornali) from Rai Uno, Rai Due and Rai Tre. A great way to stay in touch with what is going on in Italy and to improve your listening skills!
Corriere della Sera.it is the site of one of the leading Italian newspapers based in Milan
