The University of
Dayton. RELIGION 103 Introduction to the Study of Religion Summer Study at Home, 2004, Scheduling Suggestions This course formally begins Monday, May 10, though of course you can begin the work as early as you want. The last day to submit work for the course is Saturday, July 31, except for seniors enrolled in 103-ZS. Their work must be received by July 29. It is wise to plan out your summer work in advance. The schedules provided here are suggestions. You will probably find it better to work ahead of these schedules. (I will be reading and grading the papers on Mondays and Thursdays during the summer, when I am in town. I may have to adjust those days when I am out of town. The last day to withdraw from the course without record is Wed., June 30. If you are a UD student working for a "C" grade), or a non-UD students who has chosen grade option #2, you will be analyzing one book, sending in 4 Reading Guides and writing five additional commentaries (or 9 commentaries for non-UD students). In that case you might set up a schedule like this for yourself. (Non-UD students can make adjustments with the Reading Guides as best suits them.) #1 Chs. 1 - 4, plus Readings Guides 1
& 2 and at least one commentary by June 9. If you plan to work for a "A" and will be doing the extra reading required it would be wise to plan to hand in reports on a schedule like this: #1 Chs. 1-4, plus Reading Guides !
& 2 and at least one commentary by June9 |
