As a senior Music Therapy student, I can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel (luckily not a train) after what has been a few of my most life changing years thus far. As a Cleveland native and loyal Browns fan, I am a graduate of Cuyahoga Heights High School. Throughout my adolescent years I participated in the Cleveland Singing Angels for 12 years, in various vocal ensembles and contests, in school sports and other extra-curricular activities.
Despite my passion for journalism and art, I took the road less traveled in college and found music therapy to be my new dedication. At the collegiate level, I am continuing to maintain the attributes of a well-rounded individual. Currently, I am a member of the Ebony eritage Singers, Hands in Harmony, Music Therapy Club and Sigma Alpha Iota. For the last four years I have studied voice under the instruction of Dr. Ann Corrigan. In past years I have been a reporter for the Flyer News and have been involved in various service projects such as Building Bridges and Disability Awareness Week.
Goals for my musical career path include creating a network of connections, getting all the experience possible and hopefully one day starting a dual business with a psychologist in private practice. So, stay tuned for further updates . . .
