Rachel Renneker is a native of Cincinnati, OH. She is a senior Music Therapy major at the University of Dayton. Rachel began taking piano lessons at the ripe old age of seven and continued for eight years, before realizing her passion for singing. She attended St. Ursula Academy , a small, private, all-girls high school. There she participated in several musicals, chorus, and the twelve-women select vocal ensemble, SUAVE (St. Ursula Academy Vocal Ensemble), all four years .
Rachel comes from a long line of University of Dayton graduates. Her father, uncles, cousins, and all three of her older brothers and their respective wives have already grauated from UD. In fact, Rachel's great-uncle, Father George Renneker, was the president of the University many years ago.
At the Univesity of Dayton, Rachel studies voice with Dr. Ann Corrigan. She is a member of the University Chorale, and the Ebony Heritage Singers. She is also the Vice President of Memebership of Sigma Alpha Iota and the Treasurer of the Music Therapy Club.
