Senior / Music Therapy
TRAMEANM@flyernet.udayton.edu

I am a music therapy major from Florence, Kentucky with a concentration in clarinet. I originally came to the University of Dayton to pursue a degree in math and computer science. My calculus class helped me realize that music should be more than just a hobby. I love to play the piano and the guitar, and playing percussion instruments is a hidden hobby for me. I instruct pit members at Boone County High School during their summer band camp, and I arrange music for their season show.

I enjoy working with the geriatric population, and I am especially interested in Alzheimer's disease. I am currently an activities associate on an Alzheimer's unit in a local nursing home, and I am seeking an internship in a similar setting.

In addition to music, my hobbies include power-walking, writing poetry, and spontaneous arts and crafts projects. I enjoy spending time outside, being with friends, and meeting new people. My motto is, "Seize every opportunity that comes your way, because it may never come again." The Toucan Flies at Midnight!!!
