Anthony "TJ" Capone is a sophomore music education major. He comes to UD from Webster, NY, a suburb of Rochester. TJ plays the saxophone in Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, and also in the Ensynque saxophone quartet. In the "Pride of Dayton" TJ is one of three drum majors. As a student of Dr. Willie Morris he is very busy practicing his sax, but he also quite often plays the clarinet and piano, and he likes to sing.

TJ is an active member of the Phi Omega chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia professional music fraternity, and he is the Province Council Representative for the chapter. TJ is also a member of UD's chapter of Ohio Collegiate Music Educators Association. He is a student mentor for first-year music majors in the course ASI 150 "The First Year Experience."

Listen to T.J. Capone, accompanied by Tom Lipps, perform Jacques Charpentier's "Gavambodi 2" on March 7, 1997.
