Zach Glod, a native of Dearborn Hts., MI and 1997 graduate of UD is currently teaching at Carroll High School in Dayton. At U.D. he studied percussion with Jane Varella, and prior to attending the University of Dayton, Zach studied for seven years with Mike Adams, a man who (with Zach's parents) inspired him to continue in music. Sometime in the future, a trip to North India might be in order for the study of Tabla drumming and Indian classical music.

At Carroll he is working as an assistant director and head of all percussion activities, including the WGI winter drum line. Currently, the Carroll staff has been working hard to coordinate an exciting, competitive marching band show. This year the Patriots will be doing the music of Elliot Del Borgo and Malcolm Arnold.

As a former member and F.E.O. of the Phi Omega chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Zach plans on being an active alumni member. Zach is also still performing with Elvis at Revco, an all UD graduate band. Members include Steve Kuhlman, Greg Shnittger, Shawn Bishop, Brian Vacha, and Bob Hovig.
