UNIVERSITY CONCERT BAND

MUS 390 (1 sem. hr. credit)
Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:30-5:45 pm, Winter Semester only

Director: Dr. Linda A. Hartley

No audition is required for the University Concert Band. Offered winter semester only, UCB is open to all UD students, faculty and staff. Prior band experience is recommended. The University Concert Band performs for two on-campus concerts and utilizes a variety of literature including marches, concert band standards, medleys, and solo accompaniments. Seating placements will be held during finals week in December (except for percussion). Members will need to perform one prepared selection, and sightread. The selection you will need to perform will be available at Reichard Hall one week prior to exam week. Seating placements are for the purpose of identifying soloists, and assigning first, second, and third parts.

Contact Margaret Good via E-mail for further information, or Music Admissions.
