Keyboard duets were known even before little Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart sat on Johann Christian Bach's lap to improvise sonatas together. (Wolfgang took the inner parts, JC played the outer.) The UD Piano Ensemble specializes in piano duos and duets, and performs works by a wide variety of composers, including Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Grieg, Dvorak, Faure, Debussy, Poulenc and Rachmaninov. You may join the group with the permission of the director, Eric Street, who performs frequently as part of Side by Side Piano Duo.
