An Early Music Consort


Quodlibet is a group of musicians who gather weekly at Wright State University to explore and perform Early Music. The consort consists of Dr. Charles Larkowkski (WSU, Department of Music), Dr. Barbara Mann (WSU, Department of Mathematics and Statistics), Mrs. Elizabeth Morris, Dr. Todd Ridder, S.M. (University of Dayton, Department of Music) and Mrs. Margaret Erin (Manor House Music & "Wind in the Woods" consort). Their repertoire consists of instrumental and vocal music from the late Middle Ages through the Baroque Era. Dr. Charles Larkowski acts as coordinator and programmer.

Quodlibet performed recitals at WSU and UD in 1994, at a benefit for the American Cancer Society in 1995, and in recital at both UD and Wright State in 1996 (see sound clips below). In 1998 the performed with the Wright State Madrigal Singers.

In this current academic year they will perform with the Yellow Springs Madrigal Singers at 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 15, 1998, at Yellow Springs Unitarian Fellowship. The program is as follows
