Elizabeth Vandevander has served as adjunct faculty since 1974 when she taught courses in Elementary Music Methods and Recreational Music. Currently she teaches piano to majors and non-majors. Mrs. Vandevander received her BS in Music Education from Sesquehanna University and her MA in Music from Goddard College. She has performed on campus as well for the Dayton Music Club, Chamber Music Club, and SAI. She is a member of the American Matthay Association and has served as Archivist for the organization. Presently she is the Editor of the Matthay News and is an extensive lecturer for the Association. She is an OMEA adjudicator, past president of SAI, former scholarship chair for the Dayton Music Club, and a trustee for the acclaimed Soiree Musicales series in Dayton.
