Historical offerings to date:
- A profile of the first chair of the Department, Maurice
Reichard: written by John Sutton, a Music Education major who graduated
in 1985. Mr. Reichard was instrumental in creating a Music Department on the
UD campus, and his name is attached to one of our music facilities, Reichard
Hall.
- A profile of the founder of music at the University of Dayton, Brother Louis Vogt, S.M.: written by Elizabeth Dallman, a Bachelor of Arts in Music who graduated in 1998. Brother Vogt was director of musical activities for over fifty years.
- A chronology of music making from 1850 to 1938, compiled by Elizabeth Dallman, a Bachelor of Arts in Music who graduated in 1998.
