Hello, I'm Meg LaVigne. I am a first year music therapy student here at Dayton. I am originally from St. Louis, Missouri. I attended Nerinx Hall High School, an all girls Catholic school. So, needless to say, I am happy to be here! Anyhoo, in high school I was involved in Outreach service club, K.U.T.O (kids under 21 crisis center), Habitat for Hummanity, I have helped run a disabled baseball league called Challenger for the past 7 years, and I have also worked at a shelter in the city of St. Louis run by the Dorthy Day Catholic Worker Foundation. I was also involved in music. I was a member of the St. Louis Symphony Children's Chorus for 7 years, Nerinx Hal Select Women's Chorus, Honors Choir, St. Louis Metro District Choir, and Missouri All-State Choir. I performed in a few shows including ; Into the Woods, Brigadoon, Mame, and as the lead in King and I.
As a shining new performer here at Dayton, I am a member of the University Chorale and Ebony Heritage Singers . I am currently studying voice with Dr. Ann Corrigan.
