Annette Fritzsche is currently a Music Therapy major at the University of Dayton in Ohio.  But her home town is Monument, Colorado where she lives with her incredible mother, loving father, talented older sister (who attends Valparaiso University in Indiana), hilarious younger brother (who is an aspiring athlete and tuba player at the high school level!), and adorable two puppies (a yellow and chocolate lab!)!  In June of 2001, Annette graduated from Lewis-Palmer High School in Monument!  During her days in high school, she participated in a variety of athletic, musical, religious, service, and leadership related activities.  Softball, basketball, tennis, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Wind Ensemble, clarinet choir, and her church (Tri-Lakes United Methodist) are just a few of the things that kept Annette busy (not to mention the long hours she spent studying and practicing her clarinet!).  As a member of the LP Wind Ensemble (directed by Craig Ketels), Annette played at the Bands of America prestigious National Concert Band Festival held in Indianapolis, Indiana in both 1999 and 2001.

As mentioned above, Annette is currently a Music Therapy Major.  Her primary instrument is clarinet and she is presently studying with Professor John Kurokawa.  She is a member of the Symphonic Wind Ensemble at UD (directed by Dr. Patrick Reynolds ).  Besides the time she spends in the classroom, Annette continues to live an eventful life in college by participating in numerous extracurricular activities.  Some of these activities are as listed: Campus Crusade for Christ Bible study; St. Joseph's Tutoring Club with the children at St. Joe's Treatment Center; Christmas on Campus; and Red Scare, the official student cheering section at men's Flyer basketball games!

Annette hopes to continue her passion for learning, music, and helping others by majoring in music therapy.
