NOTE: Students in more than one ensemble are no longer given credit against recital requirements.
All majors are to complete
eight semesters of Mus 202, with the exception of MUE majors who are only
required to complete 7. To successfully complete Mus 202, a student may not have
more than 1 unexcused absence.
Excused absences should be rare (ex. ensemble tours) and must be cleared with the coordinator of your
subgroup in advance.

Workshops – (attached to 399/499)
All music majors taking
private lessons will have area masterclasses each Wednesday. The location is posted on the Common
Hour Calendar. To successfully complete your private lessons, you
must attend the performance workshops with no more than one unexcused
absence.
All majors are to complete
seven semesters of Music 200. To
successfully complete Mus 200, a student may not have more than 1 unexcused
absence. Excused absences should
be rare (ex. ensemble tours) and
must be cleared with Dr. Cox or the Chair of the Recital Committee in
advance.
