General Guidelines

Students entering the University as philosophy majors are advised to enroll in the CORE Program. This program provides an integrated set of courses that fulfill all general education requirements except natural science.

Students are advised to fulfill part of the Liberal Studies Curriculum requirements for the BA by demonstrating proficiency in a foreign language. Language proficiency requires completing course work in a foreign language at the 141 level or satisfactorily completing a language proficiency test. (See the UD Bulletin for more information.)
