Thompson Lecture in Christian Philosophy

This year's Thompson Christian Philosophy Lecture will be delivered by Jon McGinnis. He will speak on "The Eternity of the World: Proofs and Problems in Aristotle, Avicenna, and Aquinas" at 4:00pm on Friday, March 19, 2010. Place will be announced later. Jon McGinnis is Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He is a Greco-Arabist who also has interest in medieval Latin science, philosophy, and theology. He holds a Masters in Church History from the University of North Texas and a Ph. D. in Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania.
