ADVISOR FOR
MAJORS
The Chairperson of the Philosophy Department advises all philosophy
majors. Anyone interested in declaring philosophy as a major should meet
with him. Majors meet with the Chair regularly to plan how to make best
use of all degree requirements. Contact:

GENERAL
GUIDELINES

Students entering the University as philosophy majors
are advised to enroll in the CORE Program. This program provides an integrated
set of courses that fulfill all general education requirements except natural
science.

Students are advised to fulfill part of the Liberal
Studies Curriculum requirements for the BA by demonstrating proficiency
in a foreign language. Language proficiency requires completing course
work in a foreign language at the 141 level or satisfactorily completing
a language proficiency test. (See the
