Additional Information:

1.  The leadership and management skills learned in Army ROTC enable success in any career field.

2.  ROTC cadets are not "in the Army".  MS I and MS II cadets (non-scholarship) can withdraw from the program without obligation.

3.  ROTC does not interfere with a cadet's regular college courses.  All training is held during times  other than the regular academic day (mornings and weekends).

4.  ROTC is not a major;  it is a series of courses designed to prepare cadets for life as a commissioned  officer.  However, you will receive a minor in Military Science upon graduation.  Cadets are highly encouraged to pursue their academic excellence in their majors at all times.   Training is tailored to their academic schedules.

5.  ROTC complements campus life.  The leadership, discipline, and maturity that cadets learn can be carried throughout the campus and beyond into their personal and professional lives.
