 (1) Insuring an adequate number of class days for MWF and TTH classes. (2) Establishing Tuesday after examinations as the date to get grades in to the Registrar to provide faculty adequate time for grading. (3) Other academic impacts associated with the calendar.

Policy Changes across Academic Units (W97)

The Provost will remind the academic units of the requirement to coordinate with other units if any proposals are being developed that have impact on the other units. The APC will review this policy on an annual basis.

Graduate Classes and Stander Symposium

December 5, 2005 APCAS meeting recommendation.

Recommend that the Deans set the policies and procedures for graduate classes for their respective units. Before the 2007 Stander Symposium, APCAS recommends that the Stander Symposium planning group investigate two issues: moving the date toward the end of April and making the graduate alternative learning experience more explicit.

Recommendation received from ARSIC that a brief policy statement be placed in the Bulletin indicating that the University of Dayton does not rank its students is under discussion

Latin Honors at graduation

Policy change passed by Academic Senate

Recommendation requested from Registrar on publishing and reading Latin Honors for students walking in May graduation short 7 hours.  Policy change requires that final transcript grant the honors category appropriate based on the final GPA.
