Opportunity for Sociology Graduates

The Center for Community Research at DePaul University has received several NIH grants, making it possible for the hiring of approximately 10 new employees over the next six months. Undergraduates looking for research jobs upon graduation, with an interest in relocating to Chicago, are eligible to apply. This is a wonderful opportunity to work in the field of sociological research for a year or two before going on to graduate school. Current work is in the areas of youth access to tobacco, recovery homes for substance abusers, and chronic fatigue syndrome. Most of the post-BA research assistants who have worked at the center over the past few years have been successful in obtaining admission to competitive graduate programs.
